2010-04-26 04:20:00

The Romantic Times Convention begins what COS considers the industry "season" of conventions. RT which is in Columbus, Ohio this year has been a main staple of conventions COS considers important.

"Romantic Times book lovers convention is the place we get to meet up with readers." Says CEO Sheila Clover English. "We promote Reader's Entertainment TV and Radio as well as book trailers. We get feedback from readers and get to meet fans. It's a way to keep ourselves grounded to what is important to those people who utilize our videos for book purchase consideration."

RECTV will be there doing radio shows and video interviews as well as launching a new original show called The Imagination Room.

"We get to spend some quality time with our clients while we're there." says English. There are 35 COS clients and authors at RT this year including Melissa Marr, Kelley Armstrong, Shiloh Walker, Lori Foster and many more.

This will be the third year in a row that COS Productions has arranged to have clients' book videos played on the hotel televisions where all hotel guests can see them.

"This is a way for us to thank our clients. " says English, "We arrange for several promotional opportunities free of charge to our clients attending the convention."

The first RT Convention Sheila English attended was in 2002 in Reno, NV where she first introduced the idea of book trailers.

Other conventions and events this year include the International Film Festival, Book Expo America, Lori Foster's Reader's Event, American Independent Writers Confeerence in Washington D.C., ThrillerFest and Romance Writers of America.
