Murder Game, a novel by #1 best selling author Christine Feehan has intrigue, romance, science fiction, adventure and paranormal elements, so making a book trailer for the novel was both exciting and fun for Circle of Seven Productions, the top book trailer producer in the US.
The trailer was submitted to the EMPIxx Awards, an industry organization that judges television commercials, viral videos and other similar categories. Murder Game was entered under the Science Fiction Short category, a category Circle of Seven (COS) Productions has never entered before. This week COS was informed that Murder Game had received an extremely high score and won a Platinum Award.
“WOW. Great music, powerful graphics, fast paced, held the attention, and barely a word was spoken. GREAT WORK.”
- EMPIxx judge comments.
“This was a particularly great win for us,” says COS Productions CEO Sheila Clover English. “It was a true team effort within the company. I wrote the script, producer Brenda Urquhart did the filming and directing, Michael Miller and Jacob Henderson did the 3D modeling and effects, so we had 3 production companies working on the project!”
The story involves a woman who can touch objects and psychically see the history of that object and a man who is part of a secret military group called the Ghostwalkers who are psychically enhanced. Together they work together to find a particularly ruthless serial killer.
The video included live actors, special effects and location shooting. Actor Ryan Sevy stars as the hero and has been in numerous other book trailers. Christine Feehan continuous to write the Ghostalker series (aka Game Series) and they continue to make the bestseller lists. Although Feehan in best known for her “Dark Series” which is about the Carpathian race of immortal vampire hunters, her Ghostwalkers have grown in popularity and have become a favorite with many fans.
Currently COS Productions is working on a trailer for her next Game book entitled Ruthless Game.
