The COS official Certificate in Excellence for Email Marketing was awarded today, just prior to the next newsletter release. The COS Newsletter and the COS Established Client Newsletter have evolved over time. From simple emails from CEO Sheila Clover English to having such a large following for the newsletter it had to be moved to an email service, the newsletter offers fun and engaging multimedia, interivews with authors, social media marketing tips and the latest COS news. The Established Client Newsletter now has almost 200 clients. That newsletter is used to update clients on new marketing trends COS is using, suggested marketing opportunities, tips and other industry news and opportunities specific to COS clients.
"Our open rate has always been above average for email newsletters," says English. "We try to have something for everyone while still having variety for our different viewers. We use the analytics we get back from Constant Contact to help us determine what it is the readers of our newsletters want and we design the next newsletter according to what they want to read or see." English goes on to say, "We're very proud to get the award. We work hard and we put a lot of thought into each newsletter!"
