The new Pixie Awards which recognized acheivements in technical and creative was awarded to COS Productions in the categories of After Affects utilizaition and Special Effects.

Michael Miller who is one of the original editors with Circle of Seven Productions won for his outstanding work in the video Hush, Hush .  That same video has now been translated in several languages and has tens of thousands of views. It also received much acclaim by readers on the Barnes and Noble online site- here . 

The opening of Hush, Hush which shows the falling angel that, in the end, is on the book cover, is breath taking and intense. Mr. Miller has been doing video for over 20 years and has been with COS Productions since 2002.

The other winner is COS editor Brenda Urquhart for her video Deep Kiss of Winter .  This video shows both stories in a single book, which is challenging since the two authors have very unique voices.  Ms. Urquhart has been with COS Productions since 2004.

It's important that our editors have top-of-the-line software and technical skills as well as creative vision. Winning awards such as the Pixie Awards validates that advanced vision and skill.
